This project was created for an exhibit installation at the Science Museum of Virginia.

Based on the latest research, the video details the world's current and projected energy demands and how finite energy resources such as petroleum, natural gas, uranium, and coal will all likely be depleted by 2080.

Since these finite energy resources are used to meet 91% of today's energy needs it is clear the world will need to make a transition to alternative/renewable energy sources soon.

Special thanks to Kaya Sanan of Sanan Media for the wonderful job of writing/directing/producing this project.

Side Notes:

AFCG does not have the rights to post this video with the music track. Which is unfortunate because the music (by Jean-François Côté) is beautiful and works incredibly well with this video.

This project was underwritten by a grant from The Dominion Foundation. The Dominion Foundation is the charitable arm of Dominion Resources, one of America's largest energy companies. (As of 2011 Forty-six percent of Dominion's total electric production comes from coal. - wikipedia)
