remove wrinkles, heal damaged skin, clear away old skin cells, add vitamins, and
who knows what else... to make your skin look young and beautiful again.
All these product demos tread legal tightropes between clients, agencies,
broadcasters, and the FDA.
The manufacturers have to be able to prove their products claimed benefits are true, and they
have to be careful not to show the product affecting an area too deep below the surface of
the skin. Once the product is shown affecting areas deep into the skin, the FDA no longer
considers the product a "skin cream", but a "drug"
After creating dozens of these types of demos we found ourselves constantly reminding
agency creatives that their product demo concepts would not pass the scrutiny of their own
